Principal Geotechnical Engineer

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Stratec. The role is based in Aberdeenshire, but remote working opportunities are available. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your technical knowledge and skill whilst working in an engaging and collaborative team. The successful candidate will be involved with major geotechnical projects across a wide range of markets. The candidate will be responsible for the development of this sector in the company.

The Role:

  • Communicating with clients, colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships.
  • Independently drive routine projects and non-routine tasks.
  • Participating in the resolution of technical issues during design meetings.  
  • Ensuring compliance of deliverables for which you have responsibility, including drawings, reports, specifications, and studies with project requirements.

Skills & Experience:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or other related geoscience degree, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years in a related role.
  • Chartered with the Geological Society of London or the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).
  • Strong technical leadership and project delivery in a consulting environment.
  • Ability to independently progress schemes from inception to design completion.

Principle Environmentalist

Stratec is looking to recruit a highly experienced Principal Environmentalist to join our growing technical team. The role is based in Aberdeenshire, but remote working opportunities are available. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including the coordination of environmental assessments and analysing environmental information. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to the development of this sector in the company.

The Role:

  • Managing multi-disciplinary projects and tenders;
  • Liaising with and establishing relationships with consultees and clients.
  • Completing environmental assessments and other deliverables to a high quality.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Environmental Management), or equivalent.
  • Understanding of environmental assessment and the importance of sustainability.
  • 3+ years in environmental consultancy or a related role.
  • Knowledge of the EIA process and renewable energy projects.
  • Membership of a recognised professional institution preferred (e.g. IEMA).

Principal Ecologist

Stratec is looking for a highly experienced Principal Ecologist with extensive consultancy experience to join our team. The role is based in Aberdeenshire, but remote working opportunities are available. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of challenging and exciting projects and will be responsible for the development of this sector in the company.

The Role:

  • Plan, coordinate and manage ecology surveys.
  • Project Management of large scale, high profile projects.
  • Writing and review of technical reports and other deliverables, including EIA and HRA.
  • Management of field-based subcontractors.
  • Provision of technical advice to clients on development and construction projects.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
  • 3+ years in a related role.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management.
  • An established track record in EcIA, HRA and technical report writing.
  • Experience in stakeholder consultation and client engagement.

Telesales Executive

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Telesales Executive to join our Team at Stratec. The role is based in Aberdeenshire, but remote working opportunities are available. The successful candidate must have experience with lead generation and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

The Role:

  • Developing relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Assisting clients by identifying the best solution for their requirements. 
  • Making calls and following up with clients to meet their needs.
  • Give technical advice and guidance on product selection.
  • Assisting with the development of the sales sector in the company.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience in a sales-driven environment.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Highly Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • IT literacy and proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using Pipedrive is advantageous.
