Woven Geotextile

Woven Geotextiles are made by weaving polypropylene tapes together. Using this crisscross pattern produces a fabric with a higher tensile strength . This particular geotextile is designed for use in civil engineering projects including roadworks, drainage systems and erosion control.

Non-Woven Geotextile

Woven Geotextiles are made by weaving polypropylene tapes together. Using this crisscross pattern produces a fabric with a higher tensile strength . This particular geotextile is designed for use in civil engineering projects including roadworks, drainage systems and erosion control.

Geocomposites

Geocomposites are made by combining different geosynthetics materials or by combining geosynthetic materials with non-synthetic materials, such as bentonite clay, to address specific applications in the field in the optimal manner with minimum cost.

Geocell

Geocell is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polyester or other polymer material. It comes in the form of expandable panels in a honeycomb formation. Geocell is a long-term solution designed to prevent soil mitigation and protect the ground from soil erosion. It is typically used on steep slopes, embankments, or drainage ditches.

HDPE

HDPE Liners are impermeable, high-quality barriers manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The membrane has a high chemical resistance and is ideal for use on sites affected by hydrocarbon and VOC contamination. They are also resistant to stress cracking which make them a particularly robust liner.

LLDPE

Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) Liners are Geomembranes that are designed for applications that require greater flexibility and elongation performance. They are flexible, UV, chemical and puncture resistant, and are extremely durable.

Protection Membrane

Protection Membranes are typically Non-woven Geotextiles that are placed above and below HDPE or LLDPE liners in installations. This is done to minimise the risk of the liner being punctured or damaged.

Japanese knotweed barrier

Japanese knotweed can grow up to a rate of 10cm per day, because of this it has been known to cause damage to both building structures and biodiversity. It targets weak points in building structures such as cracks in stone and brickwork and tried to grow through them.

Geogrid

A Geogrid is a geosynthetic typically made from polymer material is used for reinforcement and separation. Geogrids consist of connected parallel sets of tensile ribs which are strong in tension and can transport force over a large area of the material, which makes then useful in increasing strength of installations.

Sediment Mats / Sandbags

Sediment mats, also known as silt mats, are used in waterways during construction activities. They are used to trap disturbed sediment and silt that migrate into steams and watercourses that could pollute aquatic habitats downstream.

Bentonite Liner

A Bentonite liner is a Geosynthetic membrane made of bentonite clay, a natural product, making it a very environmentally suited choice for a liner. It is quick and easy to install with no need for welding or taping on-site, which also means no specialist equipment or personnel is required for its installation.

Erosion Blankets

Erosion Blankets are mats that are used in areas of exposed soil in order to protect the ground beneath them from possible further soil migration and erosion. There are four different types of Erosion Blanket, both permanent and biodegradable.

High Strength Polyester Geotextiles – Road Defence

High Strength Polyester Geotextiles are made using a weft-insertion knitting process, allowing strength without the elongation associated with polypropylene woven materials. The characteristics of these Geotextiles make them excellent with functions such as stabilisation, separation, reinforcement, drainage, and filtration.

Permanent Erosion Blankets

Permanent Erosion Blankets do not decompose and provide long-term erosion control solutions for installations. Most mats have netting on both sides, with the fibre material contained between the layers. The double-sided design ensures the fibres remain securely attached and do not move from the original placement site.

Heavy Duty Grass Paver

Heavy Duty Grass Pavers are a versatile interlocking ground mats, that have a compressive strength of over 300 tonnes per square metre unfilled, so can withstand full wagon loads. Additionally, it is designed to allow water to drain away whilst pockets at the base retain some water.

Gas Membranes / Hydrocarbon barrier

Gas Membranes are ultra-low permeability high-performance membranes for use in situations where resistance to Methane, Radon, CO² gases and Hydrocarbon vapours is required.  Hydrocarbon Barriers are flexible membranes designed to protect developments and installations from latent hydrocarbons. They’re made of high-quality raw materials which give them high mechanical strength, excellent UV resistance and resistance to roots.

Rock Rolls

Filled Rock Rolls are used as a flexible robust alternative to permanent revetments such as Rock Rip Rap or Gabion Baskets and Mattresses. They are ideal for erosion protection in high energy watercourses where a purely biodegradable approach would not be adequate.

Slit Fence

Silt fencing, also known as Silt Stop, is a temporary barrier intended for retaining sediment and preventing pollution on construction sites. There are several laws and guidelines governing pollution that must be adhered to.

Rock Bags

Kyowa Filter Units, known in the UK as Rockbags, are used to protect riverbanks, coastal areas, bridges and monopiles from scour damage. Designed for use in marine environments, they are constructed of synthetic mesh and filled with aggregate stone.

High Strength Polyester Geotextiles – Coast Defence

High Strength Polyester Geotextiles are made using a weft-insertion knitting process, allowing strength without the elongation associated with polypropylene woven materials. The characteristics of these Geotextiles make them excellent with functions such as stabilisation, separation, reinforcement, drainage, and filtration.

Grass Paver

Grass Pavers are versatile interlocking ground mats, that are typically backfilled with either grass or gravel for ground reinforcement. They are designed to allow water to drain away whilst retaining some water to prevent the grass from getting waterlogged or dying out.
